I founded Hands of Heart Healing in Hilo in 2025 as a space dedicated to supporting mental, physical, and spiritual wellness through presence-based healing practices.

The intention behind this work is to create a space of non-judgment, love, and presence, where people can reconnect with themselves and move into a healthier new stage of life - a rite of passage into more soul-based living.

My vision for Hands of Heart Healing developed through over 25 years of experience in somatic and body-oriented therapies, indigenous traditional holistic health practices, contemplative healing work, and a BA focused on wilderness rites of passage.

Over time, this path deepened through training in rites of passage and holistic healing with three indigenous elders, who named me a “ceremony maker.”

That recognition reflected the heart of the work I have continued to develop - supporting people through meaningful transitions and healing processes in ways that honor the body, the spirit, and the wisdom that lives within each person.

It is about creating conditions where the body, nervous system, heart, and deeper self can begin softening, reconnecting, and moving toward greater balance and wholeness.

Part of the path that shaped this work emerged during a wilderness rites of passage in Death Valley shortly after college.

In the blog post below, I share a personal story about rest, healing, embodiment, and remembrance.
